Convive VI Contest was a contest in Uribia, La Guajira, Colombia. The purpose of this competition was to respond to the main problems of the municipality of Uribia, which was affected by an urban disorganization and a municipality without planning, with strong drought problems and disastrous social problems that were causing a marked disappearance of the Wayuu indigenous culture, which is the native culture of this part of the region. To address these problems, new systems of housing and planning at the stake, they managed to revive the way of living of the Wayuu culture and build social relationships with the culture of the XXI century to achieve a community rich in culture and identity were implemented. In turn self-sufficient housing, responsive to the needs of both cultures in one, and generate these social relations generated by the architecture.

Concurso Convive VI fue un concurso realizado en Uribia, La Guajira, Colombia. El fin de este concurso era responder a las problemáticas principales del municipio de Uribia, el cual se veía afectado por una desorganización urbana y un municipio sin planeación, con fuertes problemas de sequía y los desastrosos problemas sociales, que fueron generando una desaparición marcada de la cultura indígena Wayúu, que es la cultura nativa de esta parte de la región. Para tratar estas problemáticas, se implementaron nuevos sistemas de vivienda y un replanteo al urbanismo de este, que lograran revivir la forma de habitar de la cultura Wayúu y generar relaciones sociales con la cultura del siglo XXI para lograr una comunidad rica en cultura e identidad. A su vez se generaron viviendas autosuficientes, que respondieran a las necesidades de ambas culturas en una misma, y generar estas relaciones sociales mediante la arquitectura.
